Preparing For Birth is a comprehensive course to help you prepare for both labor and delivery, no matter the setting. Best part, I come to you. Classes are taught in the comfort of your own home!

We will cover the following topics:

  • Mentally preparing for birth

  • Stages of labor

  • When to leave for your place of birth

  • Coping with contractions

  • Common interventions used in the hospital

  • Equipment your midwife brings if out of hospital

  • Inductions and induction methods

  • C-sections and when they're indicated

  • Common newborn procedures

  • Perinatal mood disorders and when to seek help

You will also receive access local resources recommended by me!

Preparing For Birth

Preparing For Birth is 6 session comprehensive course is designed for those wanting a low intervention hospital birth or those wishing to have an out of hospital birth. Each class lasts approximately 2-3 hours.

  • 12-15 hours of course material 

  • Exercises and movements to prepare for labor and birth

  • Comfort measures for you and your partner

  • BLUE Preparing For Birth Journal

  • Access to Prepared Feeding

Preparing For Birth
MINI

This Mini 2 day, weekend class is designed to help you prepare for your labor and birth!

Come learn the ins and outs of the labor process as well as how you might be able to cope. Classes are 4 hours

Preparing For Your Hospital Birth

Preparing For Your Hospital or Out-of-Hospital Birth

Planning a hospital or out of hospital birth? This condensed 1 day course can help you understand how birth might look in either setting. Class is approximately 5 hours.

  • 4.5-5 hours of course material

  • PINK Preparing For Birth Journal

  • Discuss positioning for labor and birth

  • Tips on creating a birth plan for your place of birth
