a bit about me

My name is Caty Bilton. I am a Certified BEST Doula serving Dallas, Fort Worth and all the cities in between since 2019. I am the proud wife to Kyle Bilton and momma to Audrey (10), Presley (7), Levi (2), and Owen (bebe). I grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas and eventually found my way to College Station where I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in math/science education. I had the privilege of teaching 7th and 8th grade Science for 5 years before pursuing birth work as a doula and educator. I now have my sights set on midwifery!

As a Doula, I am there to help facilitate conversations and build bridges between an expectant parent, their partner, and health care team. I am there to support a laboring individual and their partner both physically and emotionally before, during, and after labor. I have supported over 250 families in a variety of birth settings and

My story:
My first birth was difficult and traumatic. It ultimately ended in an “unplanned c-section” which devastated me. After looking back on everything that took place, I realized every decision my provider led me to make set me up to end up in the OR. After finding out I was pregnant with my second, I knew I wanted a different experience. I put together an excellent birth team which included a Doula and a team of midwives. My VBAC went perfectly thanks in huge part to my Doula. She was there to support me during my 36 hour labor (yeah, exhausting). After seeing the difference she made during my birth, I knew I wanted to make that same difference for other women.
